Property, setting and location:
Walnut House is a Victorian property, typical of the Torquay area, known as 'Red Soil Country'.
Ideally located, a short stroll from the station, seafront, local shops and bus route, with easy access from the coast road and main routes from Exeter, Plymouth and Cornwall. Dartmoor can be seen in the distance and close at hand the sea sparkles by day and coloured lights illuminate the palm-lined promenade by night.
The keynote of Walnut House, which pampers just six guests at a time, is the warm welcome. Homely hospitality and a tranquil ambience combine to make it the ideal choice for a relaxing 'getaway' break or an activity-packed holiday.
Having been featured for several years, Walnut House continues to be recommended in the Good Bed and Breakfast Guide (published by Which?, the Consumer Association).
