Property, setting and location:
Set in rolling farmlands, Chartley Manor is a 16th century timbered manor house, half way between Stafford and Uttoxeter on the A 518. There are fields adjacent with ponds and a nature walk, which joins the bridal path to the village of Chartley, where you will find Chartley Castle, where Mary Queen of Scots was emprisoned.
The three guest bedrooms are comfortable and have a great charm with exposed beams: all have television and hairdryer.
1. Four poster (dated 1780) double bedroom with shower and toilet en suite.
2. Twin bedded room with shower and toilet en suite.
3. Room in cottage with double and single beds, shower and toilet en-suite.
Guests are very welcome to enjoy the terrace and large 2 acre garden with rose and yew walks, formal and wooded areas, leading to ponds and open fields.
Meals and other facilities:
Breakfast, either cooked English or continental, is always included in the basic tariff. Vegetarian and other special diets can be catered for with prior notice.
Other meals can found at hostelries in the local area, which serve a diverse choice of cuisine from good country cooking to vegetarian specialities.

Children over 12 years old are welcomed.
Secure, off road car parking.
House trained pets are accepted.
Fishing and horse riding on site.
Open: All Year except Christmas and New Year.
