The house is furnished with antiques ensuring that the atmosphere of the interior is very much in keeping with its origins.
Complete peace and comfort are assured with wonderful views of the pastoral Suffolk countryside. This is wonderful walking and cycling country.
Perfectly situated for Newmarket (Races), the ancient university city of Cambridge, the tudor villages of Lavenham, Clare etc. and Dedham Vale (Constable Country).
Guest rooms, facilities, and the garden:
There are 3 well appointed guest bedrooms with en-suite or private bath, tea and coffee making facilities, TV and hairdryer.
1. A double with private bath and toilet.
2. Twin bedded room with en-suite facilities.
3. Single with en-suite facilities.
An extra single bed can be provided on request.
The elegant lounge with crackling log fire on chilly evenings adds to the warm hospitality, whilst the garden is a relaxing pleasure in summer.
Meals and other facilities:
Breakfast included in the basic tariff and to suit all tastes is served in the Dining Room. Dinner prepared from fresh home grown produce can be provided with prior notice - approximate price 18.00 GBP per head excluding wine.
Home cooking and baking a speciality.
Picnic lunches can be provided - price 10.00 GBP.
Vegetarian and other dietary needs can be accommodated with advance notice.
